大きな体を使って水中を飛ぶように泳ぐ優雅な姿は非常に美しい。そして海中を優雅にはばたくその姿は、まさに大空を舞う鷲（英語名にある”eagle”）のようです。また、用心深い魚で、マダラトビエイは危険を察知すると速く泳ぐこともできる為、近づく事は困難です。
今回のように、接近して３分近くも撮影できたのは、非常に幸運でした。
The elegant appearance of swimming in the water with a large body is very beautiful. And the figure that gracefully flaps in the sea is just like an eagle flying in the sky. Also, as a cautious fish, the spotted eagle ray can swim fast when it senses danger, so it is difficult to approach.
I was very fortunate to be able to shoot for nearly 3 minutes as close as this time.
